Dallas dining continues to impress, and our visit to OSPI delivered plenty of standout moments.

The highlights started immediately with the salt air margarita — one of the most unique cocktails we’ve come across and easily a must-order. The crispy provolone was rich, indulgent, and absolutely delicious, though definitely heavy for a starter. The cauliflower surprised us in the best way, paired with a flavorful sauce and sweet dates that created an unexpectedly perfect balance.

For mains, the vodka pizza looked beautiful but ultimately felt underwhelming for the price, coming across more like a thin crust topped with pizza sauce and stracciatella. On the other hand, the beef ribs completely stole the show. It felt unusual ordering ribs at an Italian restaurant, but thanks to our server Armando’s recommendation, it ended up being the best decision of the night — tender, flavorful, and unforgettable.

Dessert was a mixed experience: the cannolis lacked flavor and excitement, but the cheesecake absolutely redeemed the course and is the dessert to order here.

Armando’s service elevated the entire evening with thoughtful recommendations, kindness, and attentiveness — though it was disappointing to learn the kitchen had run out of lasagna.

Even with a few misses, OSPI’s lively atmosphere, creative menu, and standout service make it one of Dallas’s most exciting dining destinations right now.
