Between the two of us, we've called Phoenix and Miami home before landing in Dallas in 2020. Since then, Dallas has surprised us in every good way — the food scene especially. This city doesn't get enough credit, and we're here to fix that.
Mohr Leisure started as a passion project: two people eating out constantly, texting each other about what was worth going back to, and eventually deciding that was worth writing down. What began as a shared note turned into a proper blog — and the blog has since grown into a real business built on one simple belief: if you're going to spend money on a meal, you deserve an honest take from someone who actually went.
What we're about
Food and travel are at the center of it, but Mohr Leisure is really about how you spend your time — and who you spend it with. Every review is a real visit. Every take is our own. We don't accept comped meals in exchange for coverage, and we don't write press releases dressed up as opinions.
When we're not at a table somewhere, you'll find us on a golf course, at the gym, or planning the next trip. The leisure in Mohr Leisure is intentional.
Where we're headed
Dallas will always be home base, but Mohr Leisure is bigger than one city. We're expanding — more cities, more cuisines, more of the world's table.
