From the moment we sat down at Beverley’s Bistro & Bar, it was clear the evening was going to be special.

We kicked things off with cocktails — a frozen mango margarita and the house martini — and while both delivered, the frozen mango margarita completely stole the spotlight. Perfectly balanced between sweet, icy, and strong, it was the kind of cocktail you immediately start craving again after the first sip.

The appetizers only elevated the experience further. We ordered the parker house rolls, baked meatballs, smoked trout roe deviled eggs, and salmon latkes, and nearly every dish felt memorable in its own way. The undeniable standout, however, was the salmon latkes. Crispy, rich, and beautifully paired with crème fraîche and smoked salmon, they struck the perfect balance of texture and flavor — easily one of the best appetizers we’ve had in Dallas in quite some time. The baked meatballs were solid, though slightly less exciting compared to the rest of the lineup, especially for those who prefer a more traditional all-beef meatball.

For entrées, Beverley’s continued to impress with the jumbo lump crab cake, spicy lobster rigatoni, and chicken schnitzel. The schnitzel was unforgettable — perfectly crisp, deeply comforting, and the kind of dish you find yourself thinking about long after dinner ends. The spicy lobster rigatoni brought legitimate heat, something surprisingly rare among many “spicy” rigatonis around town, while still delivering rich flavor and indulgent bites of lobster throughout. Even the crab cake held its own, packed with flavor and executed beautifully.

By the end of the night, Beverley’s had completely won us over. Between the vibrant atmosphere, standout cocktails, and genuinely memorable dishes, it’s the kind of restaurant that reminds you why Dallas dining continues to thrive — and without question, we’ll absolutely be back.
